Love Letters to Humanity: Earth

Love Letters to Humanity: Earth (Heaven-Earth)

A book of verse for people who have lost their religion and not found anything to replace it, or simply for those looking for answers to the big questions, or those looking for hope in this difficult time we face.

Love Letters to Humanity works through the questions that traditional faith once answered and secular life often leaves open: mortality, suffering, the ego, love, the nature of consciousness, and what it might mean to live well without a doctrine to live by. It offers no creed and asks for no belief. It proceeds instead by looking directly at what is difficult and saying what can honestly be said about it.

The book is in two parts – dao, the way, and de, its expression – and moves in short, breath-paced lines rather than argument. It asks to be read slowly.

Gaura Kisora Das Rader spent a decade as a celibate monk and teacher in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition before leaving to study philosophy and social psychology.

This is the first volume of the Heaven-Earth trilogy: Earth, the human ground.
